Terms of Use

1. The service

Tetopan gives you access to many third-party AI models through one account and one credit wallet. Which models are available, and their pricing in credits, can change as providers change their own offerings.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area) and able to enter a contract. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. One person, one account. Accounts, credits and passes are personal and may not be shared, resold or transferred.

3. Free credits, credits and payments

• Every account receives 5 free credits a day, refreshed at midnight. Free credits do not roll over.
• Free models remain free within our fair-use limits.
• Credits you buy are added to your wallet and do not expire.
• Credits are spent as you use paid models; the amount depends on the model and length of the request.
• Prices are shown in Kenya Shillings inside Kenya and in US Dollars elsewhere, and include applicable taxes where required.

4. Passes and plans

A pass or plan is valid only for its stated period — a day pass for 24 hours, a weekly pass for 7 days, a monthly plan for 30 days — counted from the moment payment is confirmed. When the period ends the benefits of that pass stop, even if it had unused allowance. Credits already in your wallet stay yours. Your current status and expiry time are always shown on your wallet page and are determined by our servers.

5. Refunds and cancellation

Credits are digital goods delivered immediately, so purchases are generally final. If a payment is taken but credits are not delivered, or a charge is duplicated, contact us within 30 days and we will refund or credit you. Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom keep their statutory withdrawal rights for any unused purchase. You can cancel a recurring plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the paid period.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Tetopan to:

• break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights, privacy or intellectual property;
• create sexual content involving minors, or content that incites violence or hatred;
• produce malware, spam, fraud, scams or targeted harassment;
• generate deceptive deepfakes or impersonate a real person without consent;
• give unsupervised medical, legal or financial advice to others as if it were professional advice;
• resell, scrape, reverse engineer or automate access outside the permitted interface;
• upload files you have no right to share, or attempt to reach another user’s data.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. Third-party model providers also apply their own usage policies.

7. Your content and ours

You keep ownership of what you upload and, to the extent permitted by law, of the output generated for you. You grant us the limited licence needed to transmit, process and store that content to run the service. Tetopan’s name, logo, design and software remain ours. Similar outputs may be generated for other users, so output is not exclusive.

8. AI output disclaimer

AI models can be wrong, out of date or biased. Output is provided for information only and is not professional advice. Check anything important before you rely on it, especially in medical, legal, financial, academic or safety contexts. You are responsible for how you use the output, including compliance with your school or employer’s rules.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Models can be temporarily unavailable, and we may change, suspend or retire features. Where a model fails, Tetopan may route your request to a comparable model so you still get an answer.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tetopan is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these terms.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email before taking effect. You can stop using Tetopan and delete your account at any time. We may end access for serious or repeated breaches, with notice where reasonable.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
